CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR GRANTS TALENTIA SENIOR PROGRAM
Extract of the Resolution of November 8, 2018 of the General Secretariat of Universities, Research and Technology is sent, by which the award of grants of the Talentia Senior program for the recruitment, incorporation and mobility of human capital for R&D&I is called for the year 2018. In the following lines we indicate you the main features of the call.
Beneficiaries: Entities qualified as Agents of the Andalusian Knowledge System and registered in the Electronic Registry regulated by Decree 254/2009, of 26 May, Foundations that are registered and up to date with the obligations with the corresponding Registry of Foundations of the Andalusian Government, the researchers who will carry out the corresponding research activities must have the degree of doctor, with a seniority of at least five years, having an international scientific projection and excellence and Research Organizations for non-economic activities.
Objective. The award of 12 grants of the Talentia Senior program for the recruitment, incorporation and mobility of human capital for R&D&I is announced on a competitive basis. The purpose of this program is to attract and subsequently retain in the Andalusian Knowledge System researchers with an outstanding scientific record and excellent leadership skills.
Amount. Each beneficiary entity will receive, for each researcher, an amount between 62,000 and 92,000 euros per year for recruitment costs, for a total of three years; a unit amount of between 2,000 and 6,000 euros for relocation costs; 5% of the sum of recruitment and relocation costs for indirect costs; and up to 1% of this amount for the costs of the auditor’s report provided as part of the supporting account.
Deadline for submission of applications: from November 19 to December 19, 2018 at 3:00 pm.Maximum term to resolve and publish the resolution: it will be six months from the day following the end of the term for the presentation of applications. The aforementioned period may be suspended for a maximum period of three months, pending the corresponding evaluation by the Andalusian Knowledge Agency.

The Curriculum Vitae of the research personnel to be hired, as well as any other information related to the application of the evaluation criteria accompanying the applications must necessarily be prepared in English, in order to be able to carry out the evaluation by international experts.
