Presentation of the results of the project on the Cultivation of the Pedro Ximénez Variety for the Production of Organic Sweet Wines in the Jerez Region

On Monday 4 September, at the Dos Mercedes vineyard of the Williams & Humbert company in Jerez, the INVITEC operational group held a presentation session on the results of the project on the cultivation of the Pedro Ximénez variety for the production of organic sweet wines in the Jerez region. Both the group leader, Dr. Víctor Palacios, and the project leader, Dr. Ana Jiménez, together with representatives of the Williams & Humbert company, showed the participants the results and activities of the project for growing grapes and making wines from the Pedro Ximénez variety in this area of the Jerez region.
In addition to the UCA, the partners of the operational group also include the Diputación de Cádiz, the Regulatory Council of the DO Jerez, the Williams & Humbert company itself and Ecovalia (Spanish professional association for organic production).
