Today our Rector visited the construction site of the new lecture hall, on the Jerez Campus, which will bear the name of our beloved founder and former director, Carmelo García Barroso. Three years ago, his sudden departure left a void in our hearts, but his legacy lives on in every corner of the UCA. This lecture theatre will be a tribute to his tireless dedication to research and education in viticulture and agri-food. We are excited to share his memory and carry on his legacy.
