Ivagro and the City Council of Jerez agree on joint dissemination activities 27 May 2024


The Jerez headquarters of the Instituto de Investigación Vitivinícola y Agroalimentaria (IVAGRO) has received the visit of Mr. José Ángel Aparicio, Delegate of Educational Development, Vocational Training, Universities and Sports.

🤝 The director of IVAGRO, Miguel Palma, together with the secretary, Ana Ruiz, and Professor Lázaro Lagostena, head of the Peripheral Geodetection Service, presented the lines of work of the Institute in the field of agri-food heritage. In addition, they highlighted the heritage collection of the old bottle factory of the city that they are cataloging and putting in value.

🏺 Professor Lagostena also announced the upcoming start of activities related to the archaeological site of Mesas de Asta.

🔍 As a result of this meeting, IVAGRO proposes to the city council to develop joint activities to disseminate the research results to the Jerez society.
